Expert Curtain Making Tips

1. Choosing Your Colour: As a general rule, use White lining if your main curtain fabric has a white background, and Ivory for warmer fabrics (creams, reds, golds) so the lining doesn’t look too stark from the outside of your house.

2. The Double Lining Trick: For the ultimate luxury “hotel” drape, pair this sateen lining with a thick cotton interlining. The sateen goes on the outside (facing the window) to protect the interlining from the sun.
